About
Carmen Frame, Director
My name is Carmen and I have been successfully operating Companion Care NZ as from 2011. I was born in Christchurch and have lived in the south of the city all of my life. I have always had a strong passion and have several years work experience supporting adults in the area of aged care and disabilities including mental health, dementia and health conditions. I have worked and trained in both the community and residential settings as a care giver and mental health support worker. Further to my training I am fully licensed to carry passengers and police vetted in New Zealand with an up to date Saint John’s First Aid Certificate.
I have expansive experience, knowledge and empathy of adult challenging life experiences. Therefore I recognise the importance for social engagements and enhanced support to have a better quality of life. I value my client’s individuality and am passionate to ensure my client’s feel special by having a positive active input in their lives. It is a privilege to work in this field and I find my work meaningful and rewarding.
I am married with two adult sons. . In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, walking especially up and around the Port Hills, cycling, gardening, travelling, movies and concerts.
